Introduction

2.1 In Lesson Two, we introduce four more consonants and one "long" vowel. Click on the letters to listen to the teacher. Try and get into the habit of looking at the Thai letters as you read instead of the Roman letters.

You will notice, that ห has a rising tone.

2.2 It is important for you to know which class each consonant belongs to. We will review them here every week.

We use the consonant อ to make it clearer where the vowel appears.
