วันลอยกระทงเป็นประเพณีอย่างหนึ่งของไทยซึ่งมีมาแต่สมัยโบราณ พวกเราจะลอยกระทงกันเป็นประจำทุกปี และจะกระทำกันในวันเพ็ญเดือนสิบสอง เพราะในวันเพ็ญเดือนสิบสองน้ำจะเอ่อล้นริมตลิ่ง ทำให้ลอยกระทงได้สะดวก การลอยกระทงมีความสำคัญมาก และการลอยกระทงนี้เป็นการขอคมาแม่น้ำคงคาที่ทำให้น้ำเน่าเสีย อย่างเช่นทิ้งขยะมูลฝอยลงไปในน้ำ เป็นต้น และทุกๆปีจะมีการประกวดหนูน้อยนพมาศและนางนพมาศหลังจากลอยกระทงด้วย ทำให้สร้างสีสรรให้กับการลอยกระทงและยังเป็นจุดสนใจในการลอยกระทงนี้ได้เป็นอย่างดี ฉันไม่ได้ไปลอยที่ศาลากลางจังหวัด เพราะพ่อของฉันบอกว่าที่ศาลากลางจังหวัดมีคนแยะ พ่อของฉันก็พาไปลอยกระทงที่ร้านอาหารแทน ฉันไปร้านอาหาร ฉันไปที่หลังร้าน ที่หลังร้านอาหารมีบึงใหญ่อยู่ ฉันลอยกระทงที่บึงใหญ่นั้น

Loy Krathong's Day

Loy Kratong's day is one tradition of Thailand. Loy Kratong's day has been celebrated since ancient times. We float our kratong every year. We float the kratong in the twelfth full moon because that is when the water will overflow from the streams. To float a kratong is very important because we apologize to the Goddess of the water for discarding trash in the stream. Every year there is a beauty show for children and women called Miss Noppamas. The show is important for the Festival. I didn't go to the town hall because my father told me the town hall has too many people but my father took me to float kratong at a food shop. I went to the food shop. I went behind the food shop. Behind the food shop was a big pond. I floated my kratong in the pond.
