วันลอยกระทงในปีนี้ตรงกับวันเสาร์ที่ 8 พฤศจิกายน หรือขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 12 ของทุกปี เราลอยกระทงกันเพื่อขอขมาต่อพระแม่คงคา และลอยสิ่งที่ไม่ดีไปกับกระทง

วันลอยกระทงปีนี้ คุณพ่อพาฉันและน้องไปลอยกระทงที่ศาลากลางจังหวัด พอไปถึงที่ศาลากลางจังหวัดเห็นคนเยอะมาก ต้องเข้าแถวรอลงเรือไปลอยกระทงกลางแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา สาเหตุที่ต้องลงเรือก็เพราะงานในปีนี้มีชื่อว่า " ลอยกระทงลงทะเล "

Loy Krathong's Day

Loy Krathong's day in this year (2003) was on Saturday 8th, November. It is on the full moon night of the twelfth lunar month every year. We float krathongs because we need to apologize to the Goddess of the water.

On Loy Krathong's day this year, my father led me and my younger sister to the town hall. I saw lots of people there. We went on a boat to float our krathongs in the river.
