วันลอยกระทง

วันลอยกระทงเป็นประเพณีที่สืบทอดมาตั้งแต่กรุงสุโขทัย การลอยกระทงเป็นการขอขมาพระแม่คงคาวันลอยกระทง ในวันนั้นจะมีน้ำขึ้นเต็มตลิ่งและพระจันทร์จะเต็มดวง วันลอยกระทงในปีนี้ตรงกับวันที่ 8 พฤศจิกายน ในทุกๆปีที่โรงเรียนของฉัน คุณครูจะให้นักเรียนทุกๆคนทำกระทง คุณครูสอนฉันและเพื่อนๆของฉันทำกระทง กระทงที่ฉันและเพื่อนทำมานั้นทำมาจากกระดาษ ในตอนเย็นของวันลอยกระทงฉันและครอบครัวไปลอยกระทงกันที่แม่น้ำข้างๆบ้านของฉัน ฉันเห็นกระทงของคนอื่นๆเป็นกระทงที่ทำมาจากใบตองบ้างขนมปังบ้าง ที่ศาลากลางจังหวัดมีการประกวดหนูน้อยนพมาศและนางนพมาศและในตอนกลางคืนก็มีพลุที่สวยงาม

Loy Krathong's Day

Loy krathong 's day is a custom from the times of Sukhothai. We float a krathong because we want to apologize to the goddess of the water. On that day, the river is high and there is a full moon. Loy krathong's day, this year was on 8 November. Every year, at my school, the teacher teaches the students how to make krathongs. My krathong is made of paper. In the evening, my family went to Loy krathong at the river. I saw karthongs made from banana leaves and bread. At city hall, there was a contest for Miss Noppamas and later there were fireworks. They were beautiful.
