hong krua

Can I have a ...? (khor ...)

The Thai word "khor" is more polite than saying "ow". Like everything on this web site, I have shortened this request to just one word. This is what we would say in every day Thai. To be more polite then say something like "khor xxx noi krub". (Women will say kaa instead of krub). The word "noi" means a little and it just makes the request sound even more polite.

Here you are. (nee krub )

(Women will say kaa instead of krub).
