Learning Thai the Easy Way!

The following conversation, "At the Supermarket" was written in Thai and English by three Primary 6 students from Sriwittayapaknam School. Kotchakorn, Nonrapun and Sutathip are 12 years old. They also recorded the sound and produced this page.

	Person:1		สวัสดีค่ะ ยินดีต้อนรับสู่ซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ตค่ะ
			Hello, welcome to the supermaket.
	Person:2		สวัสดีค่ะ
			Hello.
	Person:1		คุณต้องการอะไรคะ
			What do you want?
	Person:2		ฉันต้องการสับปะรดค่ะ
			I want some pineapples.
	Person:1		คุณต้องการสับปะรดเท่าไหร่ คะ
			How many pineapples do you want?
	Person:2		ฉันต้องการสับปะรด 2 กิโล
			I want two kilos.
	Person:1		ทั้งหมดเป็นเงิน 65 บาทค่ะ
			That's sixty-five baht.
	Person:1		คุณต้องการสิ่งอื่นอีกไหมคะ
			Is there anything else you want?
	Person:2		ไม่แล้วค่ะนี่คือเงิน 100 บาทค่ะ
			No, that's all. Here is one hundred baht.
	Person:1		นี่ค่ะ เงินทอน 35 บาท
			Here is thirty-five baht change.
	Person:1		ขอบคุณมากนะคะ
			Thank you very much.
	Person:2		อุ๊ย! ฉันลืมซื้อส้มค่ะ
			Oh! I'm sorry. I forgot to buy some oranges.
	Person:1		คุณต้องการซื้อส้มเท่าไหร่คะ
			How many oranges do you want?
	Person:2		1 กิโลค่ะ
			One kilo, please.
	Person: 1		ทั้งหมดนี้เป็นเงิน 30 บาทค่ะ
			That's thirty baht.
	Person:2		นี่ค่ะ เงิน 30 บาท
			Here is thirty baht.
	Person:1		ขอบคุณมากนะคะ โอกาสหน้าเชิญใหม่ค่ะ
