วันลอยกระทง by Kuntawit Wittayonrngowit

เมื่อวันที่ 8 พฤศจิกายนมานี้ เป็นวันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ พอดี ซึ่งมีพระจันทร์เต็มดวง ประชาชนส่วนใหญ่จะไปลอยกระทงกัน โดยเชื่อว่าได้ไปขอขมาพระแม่คงคา
ผมได้ไปลอยกระทงที่บ้านของลุงหนุ่ย ชึ่งเป็นเพื่อนของพ่อ
และมีเพื่อนพ่อมากมายไปลอยที่นั่น รวมทั้ง มีเพี่อนของผมไปที่นั่นด้วย
ผมเข้าไปในหมู่บ้าน และที่นั่นได้มีการแสดงต่างๆ
ผมได้ไปซื้อประทัดมาหลายอย่าง และได้นำมาเล่นกับเพื่อนอย่างสนุกสนาน
มีทั้งแมลง ไฟเย็น ควันสี ผมลอยกระทงที่นั่น มีอยู่ครั้งหนึ่ง ผมแอบเผากระทงเพื่อนด้วยกระทงเพื่อนผมทำจากกระดาษ ผมจึงจุดลูกข่างและโยนเข้าไปในกระทง กระทงเพื่อนผมไฟไหม้เลย จากนั้นผมก็เดินทางกลับบ้าน

Loy krathong

On 8th November, the full moon was bright. Thai people went to float karthongs in the river to have faith and apologize to the goddess of the water. I went to float my krathong at my friend's father's house and my friends came to float here as well. After that, I went to the city hell. There were many shows. I bought many firecrackers. My friends and I played firecrackers. It was fun. I floated another karthong here too. I put firecrackers in my friend's karthong and burned it! We floated my friend's krathong and we came back to my house.
