THAI RADIO ON THE INTERNET

One of my favourite radio stations is Radio 88: Radio No Problem. Most of the DJ's are bilingual and they quite often switch between English and Thai. Practice your Thai and listen to some live radio!

You can listen to: Radio 88 | Radio 98 | Radio 91.5 | Radio 102.25

Listening to the radio is a good way to learn Thai. Don't worry if at first you can't understand much. after a while you will start to hear some of the more important words again and again. It is also a good way to tune your ear into the Thai tones and an excellent way to pick up Thai slang. The proper way of saying hello in Thai is "sawatdee". But, in the phone-ins on the radio shows you will often hear a shortened version of "watdee".

Normally on the radio you cannot stop and rewind if you want to listen to something again. What we have done for you is to record some different telelphone conversations for you to download. These are all mp3 files. Right click on the links and choose 'save target as".
