Football or soccer is one of the most popular sports in Thailand. Thai people of all ages like to watch it. Also conversatioa about football is very popular for Thai people. So I think it's a good idea for you to learn to speak some words so you can talk to them. Most teams' and players' names use the same words but some Thai people might shorten them.

A:	What team do you like? (khun chorb team a-rai)
B:	I like Liverpool. What about you? (phom chorb liverpool laew khun la)
A:	I like Man U. (phom chorb man u)
B:	Who do you like in Man U team. (khun chorb krai nai team man u)
A:	I like Beckham. (phom chorb beckham)
B:	I like him too. He is a good player. (phom gore chorb khao, khao ben poo len tee dee)
B:	What do you think about Owen? (laew khun kit yung ngai gub owen)
A:	I don't really like him. I like Gerrard more. (phom mai koi chorb khao, phom chorb gerrard mak gwar)
