The Stop Finals are represent by k, t and p in Roman letters. They are called Stop Finals because they are unvoiced when they come at the end of a syllable.

The following are all the Stop Finals:

¡, ¢, ¤, ¦ are represented by a "k" when they come at the end.

´, ¨, ª, ´, ®, µ, ¯, °, ¶, ·, ¸, ², Ê, È, É are represented by a "t" when they come at the end.

º, », ¾, À, ¿ are represented by a "p" when they come at the end.

The Sonorant Finals are represented by ng, n, m, y and w in Roman letters. They are called Sonorant Finals because they are voiced. If you touch your Adam's apple (larynx) while you say Thai syllables with these consonants at the end you will feel a vibration.

The following are all the Sonorant Finals:

Í is represented by a "o" when it comes at the end.

§ is represented by a "ng" when it comes at the end.

¹, ³, Ã, Å, Ì, ­ are represented by a "n" when they come at the end.

Á is represented by a "m" when it comes at the end.

Â, Ç are represented by a "i" when they come at the end.
